Management Accountant
Prestigious property investment company requires a forward thinking, experienced management accountant, that is looking to utilise their skills and experience to enable them to continue to grow and develop within the European property market.
In this hybrid role, you will work alongside a small team, initially 3 days in the office in Central Richmond, Surrey and 2 days based from home.
The Management Accountant will become an integral role within this Independently owned business, with an impressive portfolio of property.
Some of the key duties that you will be required to own and oversee include:
Office Accounts
- Produce quarterly VAT return for submission to HMRC
- Produce monthly management accounts with commentary
- Prepare monthly payroll & pension administration
- Company & personal expenses
- Ensure all suppliers and agents are paid
Client Accounts
- Check landlord statements and supplier invoices
- Prepare accounts for HMRC
- Authorise payments and manage statements in the absence of the book keeper
- Occasional aged debtor analysis
Euro Account - Polish & German Accounts
- Reconcile Euro bank account, Excel spreadsheet and transferring of funds on a regular basis
- Prepare landlord statements on a quarterly basis
- Arrange payment of local country taxes
- Review monthly rental accounts
To fulfil the role of Management Accountant, you will have:/be
- Qualified or Part-Qualified CIMA or ACCA
- Experience of accounting within an SME (Ideally within the property industry)
- Strong attention to detail
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Experience of accounting software, SAGE, Xero or similar
- Flexible, efficient, pro active and well organised
