Accounts Assistant/Office Manager

  • Position – Full Time
  • Location – Petersham (Richmond-upon-Thames)
  • Salary – £30,000-£35,000pa (depending on experience)

The company manages a diverse portfolio of commercial real estate investments and developments across London & Thames Valley markets.

Job Description

This role offers the chance to join a small team and gain experience in all aspects of the accounting function in a number of real estate investment and development companies.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Supplier invoice review, processing and payment
  • Raising monthly and quarterly tenant invoices
  • Periodically raising tenant recharges
  • Producing weekly debtor report
  • Process all bank payments & receipts
  • Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Quarterly: preparing 4 companies accounts up to trial balance
  • Preparation, review and reconciliation of Service charge budgets / accounts
  • Ad hoc duties as required

Requirements

  • Experience in a similar role
  • Solution focussed and can demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy in work
  • Effective communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Self -motivated and comfortable working alone and as part of a small team
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise daily workload
  • Ensure smooth running of the office on a day-to-day basis
  • Proactive and keen to develop new capabilities

Desirable

  • Previous experience in property
  • Property management software experience (Propman)
  • AAT or similar qualification
