Technical Support Engineer - £235 per day + Holiday Pay – PAYE basis 

12-month contract – Hybrid working available.

As a fast growing, award winning global technology company the role of Technical Support Engineer requires someone who has a passion for technology, problem solving, the ability to multitask and eager to  deliver first class customer service support, whilst being self-motivated.

The company was established over 15 years ago and now works across 27 countries and employs over 10,000 people.  As the leading Service Management, service provider, its platform with numerous applications and features is aimed at optimising business workflows, automating routine service tasks, and resolving complex customer issues.

As Technical Support Engineer you will be responsible for:

  • Managing and resolving challenging issues and escalations
  • Understand the platform, cloud technologies and trouble shooting practices to ensure successful resolution of challenging technical situations
  • Provide technical guidance in addressing their business needs
  • Act as the voice of the customer into the product development teams for product feedback and improvements

The successful candidate for the role of Technical Support Engineer will:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science (or related technical degree)
  • Experience providing SaaS / PaaS support
  • A fundamental understanding of ITIL framework 
  • Proven technical support or software coding experience
  • Advanced understanding of object-orientated programming languages like Java
  • Strong Experience with relational databases (MySQL, Oracle)

In return the Technical Support Engineer will receive £235 per day plus 33 days holiday and the opportunity to work with a world leader in the tech industry in a collaborative and supported environment. Permanent opportunities to potentially follow an initial contract period.
