Order Processing Specialist 

As an established, highly successful, well-known beauty brand business, the role of Order Processing Specialist is an integral part of the company.  As Order Processing Specialist  you will be responsible for orders and EDI management across agreed Global Business Operations.  You will will take responsibility for ensuring customer sales orders are recorded, fulfilled, and delivered against the customer requirements.

Some of the other key areas of responsibility in the role of Order Processing Specialist include: 

  • EDI Order Management 
  • To be a key contact for specified global customers and ensure their needs for information and support are covered efficiently from order placement to cash collection 
  • Responsible for managing the team in absence of the OMS Manager. 
    • Cross-training, back up support and coaching for the order management team members across global businesses. 
  • Take overflow of telephone and email enquiries, ensuring all orders and enquiries are dealt with in a professional and timely manner 
  • Work with the planning team to ensure stock is available to supply to customers 
  • Escalation point for customer complaints 

The successful candidate for the role of Order Processing Specialist will have/be: 

  • EDI Order Management experience essential 
  • Proven experience within an operational/fulfilment role
  • Excellent organisational skills 
  • Relationship management of external providers 
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills 
  • Good understanding of order to cash financial processes
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with multi-functional teams 
  • Confident with prioritising, whilst maintaining orderly accurate and up to date paperwork
  • Previous experience of team leading
