Marketing & Events Assistant 

International, well-known brand, require an extremely well organised marketing & events assistant,  with a knowledge and interest in digital marketing to assist with development, implementation and coordination of the logistics of their sponsorship events and marketing campaigns.

As Marketing & Events Assistant, you will provide support with a variety of tasks, including: 

  • Working as part of the events team, responsible for ensuring that the key sponsorships, including golf days, exhibitions and online events run smoothly and all attendees are catered for as requested. 
  • Work with Communications manager to activate ambassadors and influencers across online and offline events programme
  • Develop annual programme of ambassador activities
  • Ensure compliance by ambassadors/influencers
  • Coordinate guest travel and accommodation and entertainment 
  • Liaise with event organisers & build relationships with other patrons/sponsors to ensure they are planning the event as required
  • Manage sponsorship costs within allocated budget 
  • Maintain project management records 
  • Run detailed schedules for events, making sure all milestones are met 
  • Manage any contractual obligations to support various programmes or events 

To be considered for the role of Marketing & Events Assistant you will have/be: 

  • Degree or equivalent 
  • Events assistant, Team Assistant/PA or Marketing Assistant background
  • Knowledge and interest in digital marketing as many events move to be online. 
  • Confident communicator
  • Excellent organisational skills, ability to work on multiple projects at one time
  • Experience in project management and implementation 
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook 
  • Creative thinker 
  • Ability to work with all levels of seniority in business
