Events Administration Manager

Salary circa £25,000 plus annual bonus. Benefits - 20 days holiday, auto enrolment pension & group income protection.

Monday to Friday 9am - 5:30pm - Permanent / Full-time

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Events Administration Manager to join a established and successful business, based in Richmond.

You will co-ordinate and manage the administration and logistics for suppliers and delegates attending multiple events across senior level business forums.

In the role of Events Administration Manager, you will be responsible for;

  • Creating and maintaining the event template
  • Responsible for event selection websites
  • Attendance at the events
  • Co-ordination of event staffing with Project Manager
  • Restaurant and lounge plans
  • Responsible for updating event websites
  • Liaising with venue, pre-event briefings, post-event feedback
  • Database management
  • Sourcing new leads
  • Account management and debt collection
  • Organisation of supplier briefing days
  • Writing and co-ordination of supplier manuals
  • Main contact for suppliers and admin contacts
  • Excellent computer skills including full knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • Knowledge of Access databases and Excel would be helpful
  • Ability to learn new systems a plus
  • Account management and debt collection
  • Organisation of supplier briefing days
  • Writing and co-ordination of supplier manuals
  • Main contact for suppliers and admin contacts
  • Meeting minutes
  • Proof reading
  • Reception duties

The skills required to perform this role, include;

  • Confident communicator with ability to work under pressure
  • Previous marketing or events experience, distinct advantage
  • Excellent computer skills including full knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • The ability to work under their own initiative within guidelines
  • Follow procedures but able to evaluate better methods
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail with good problem solving skills
  • Strong organisational skills
