Internal IT Account Manager 

Award winning Cloud Services Provider and well established IT business support organisation, with local, regional and global reach, require an excellent communicator, with ability to understand and learn some IT/Technical related requirements, to support their sales support team. 

The Internal Account Management role, is pivotal in providing continuity of sales support and requires an extensive amount of telephone relationship building with their clients. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for helping people to utilise and develop your skills and experience to provide first class support to a variety of clients. 

As Internal Account Manager some of your key responsibilities will include: 

  • Develop and agree both internally and externally the activity plan for each account, ensuring they are aligned with the overall business strategy and any agreements with relevant strategic partners.
  • Stakeholder and relationship management at all levels and through all functions of the customer and the company.
  • Tender and quotation support
  • Proactive engagement with the wider sales team to promote profitable collaboration within clients
  • Deliver sales quotation support adhering to the company processes and procedures.
  • Provide the Sales Manager with accurate and timely information which includes sales forecast & pipeline, order values and margin estimates in accordance with the agreed process and using the agreed tools including CRM.
  • Generating sales opportunities within existing customers.
  • Professional management of all bids and proposals submitted to customers and prospects.

To fulfill the role of Internal Account Manager, you may have come from an IT company and supported them in a Business Analyst or Technical support capacity.

Some of the other key skills you will have, include: 

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills 
  • Proficiency in account planning, deal strategy and relationship management 
  • Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail 
  • Commercially aware and able to identify & effectively communicate at all levels 
  • Ability to work and liaise with technical and field staff 
  • Capable of working proactively and under pressure
  • Willingness to travel and overnight stays, when the role demands - Full driving licence required

In return you will receive a salary - base of 30k + up  to 6k bonus.
