HR Manager - SW18 - up to 55k 

High end landscape design and construction organisation requires an experienced HR Manager to provide standalone generalist support to this well established SME. As HR Manager, you will have the opportunity to put your stamp on a number of personnel tasks, as well as take ownership of the day to day HR duties. 

In return you will receive a salary of up to 55k - opportunity to work 4, 4.5 or 5 days per week, hybrid working to be considered after a qualifying period , 25 days holidays, pension annual profit bonus scheme. 

Forming part of the management team, working closely with the Financial Controller and reporting to the Chairman, some of the key responsibilities of the HR Manager will include: 

  • Recruitment 
  • Employee Relations 
  • Payroll 
  • Training Coordination 
  • Compliance 
  • Drive annual review and pay review process
  • Internal communications 
  • Develop the induction processes in to the office as well as on to various construction and maintenance sites 
  • Oversee Health & Safety - alongside external consultants 

To fulfil the role of HR Manager you will have / be: 

  • Proven experience within an HR Generalist role, ideally supporting an SME 
  • Experience gained within construction and exposure to Health & Safety a distinct advantage 
  • Happy to hit the ground running, in an often reactive environment 
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Calm and diplomatic approach 
  • Happy to be office based for the majority of the week
