International Membership organisation, require a dynamic, ambitious and experienced Event Manager to join their rapidly growing team based in stunning offices near Richmond.

£30-35,000

The Role will require the candidate to arrange a minimum of 20 UK based events annually, ranging from dinners, conferences, annual awards and summer parties.

In the role of Event Manager, your duties will include:

  • To be responsible for the coordination and management of the London based events programme once the event has been decided within the leadership team.
  • To manage the events in the lead up, on site and be the main point of contact.
  • Creating event timelines, creating catering, venue/AV and speaker briefings, creating slide decks on InDesign and ensuring events are delivered on time, within budget, and meet expectations
  • Management of the Annual Dinner and Awards bookings, guests and table plans.
  • Liaising with venue and catering teams and supporting with the running of the events on site
  • Researching and securing venues, negotiating prices, building new relationships with suppliers/venues/corporates as well as maintaining existing relationships -

To fulfil the role of Event Manager you will have: 

  • Proven Event Management or Event Coordination experience, within a business environment
  • Extremely organised with acute attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills
  • Results driven, with the ability to work well under pressure with multiple deadlines
  • Familiarity with all major office applications
  • Familiar with MS office, Photoshop and InDesign
  • Good negotiation skills and the ability to build relationships quickly

Must live within a commutable distance to Richmond
