Local to Richmond, up to 25k dependent on experience + benefits

Well established, professional business conference organisation, require an experienced Administrator to be the first point of contact for their conference delegates and members. In this pivotal role, you will provide information, advice and support in respect of their attendance at events or membership of their client organisation. 

As Events Administrator, you will follow the solid processes that are in place, to ensure a consistent level of service is always provided. Some of the key tasks will include: 

  • Process delegate registrations and membership applications, using their bespoke in-house system
  • Handling high volumes of calls and emails and responding in a timely manner 
  • Support the preparation of regular newsletters and other membership communications and marketing materials
  • Maintain dynamic and interactive websites, combined with social media activity for business 
  • Preparation and collation of badges, delegate packs and conference material, prior to the event 
  • Assisting with logistics of multiple events, under the direction of Conference Managers 
  • Attendance at conferences through the UK and occasionally Internationally 

The Events Administrator will have: 

  • First class organisational and customer service skills with the ability to calmly manage a variety of tasks to meet tight deadlines
  • Desire to thrive in a pressured environment, be able to prioritise a heavy workload
  • Degree educated or equivalent 
  • Team player
  • Excellent working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook and comfortable in learning new software packages
