Estates & Facilities Procurement Category Manager 

Surrey based University ranked in the UK's top 50 requires an experience Procurement Category Manager to cover the estates and facilities category across the various sites in Surrey and South West London. In return you will receive a starting salary of circa 44k - working a 37 hour week on a hybrid basis. 

As an MCIPS (or equivalent) qualified Procurement Professional, you will have full responsibility for delivering procurement of key contracts as required, based on the needs of the business. You will also: 

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across the business 
  • Identify areas where procurement can add measurable value
  • Work with the finance department to deliver strategic objectives with a clear focus on customer service 
  • Help to ensure they match its budget to its teaching and learning aspirations. 

To fulfil the role of Procurement Category Manager you will have / be: 

  • MCIPS (or equivalent) qualified
  • Proven work experience gained within the public sector or higher education 
  • In depth knowledge of category management techniques and processes - with cross functional teams
  • Confident, to work independently as well as part of a team 
  • A willingness to work in an agile way. 

This is an immediate start role, although they will consider people on notice. Starting salary is 44k .
