Global events organisation, requires a highly motivated and enthusiastic Delegate Events Assistant to provide first class Customer Services support for one of their International Travel events.
Working with the event planners, you will be assigned a number of key delegates who will be attending the shows, your key responsibilities will include:
- Contacting the attendees to the event, via phone and email, remind them of deadlines to arrange their appointments
- Manage a high volume of incoming queries via calls and emails and respond in a professional manner
- Liaise with official travel partners, regarding hotel and flight arrangements for the
- Monitor appointment progress and activity
- Administrative support, including updating internal databases to ensure all activity is captured accurately.
This is a 5 week temporary booking to start at the end of September. You must be able to commit for the full duration of the booking.
Based in Central Richmond, circa £12 per hour.
Key skills that would be required for the Delegate Events Assistant role, would be:
- Good Interpersonal Skills, both written and verbal
- Strong customer service and research background, ideally within travel or event management industry
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Excellent working knowledge of Excel and Databases
- Flexible approach, with strong time management and organisational skills
