Customer Service Assistant - Teddington - initial hours 8am - 5:30pm and then potentially to be 10am - 7pm - Monday to Friday - £21,000
Immediate start, permanent opportunity to utilise your excellent customer service or call centre experience and work for this busy market leader with over 40 years experience in the payroll industry based centrally in Teddington.
In the role of Customer Service Assistant some of the key duties will be:
- Answering incoming phone calls from clients, contractors and employees and returning these calls if necessary.
- Checking their bespoke software (Merit Software) for Pay information, updating details. Leaving detailed diary notes in records.
- Changing/ Updating information in line with company standard and GDPR.
- Dealing with requests for P45/P60/SOE’s.
- Confirming personal details and sensitive information upon registration in line with GDPR requirements.
- Explain Payslips/Remittances to employees /subcontractors.
- Explain any Deductions / Fee Adjustments / Check DWP Deductions and pass to correct department or client for further information.
- Deal with registration queries, gathering information and updating on progress.
- Chase outstanding documents required from operatives.
- Input registrations onto Merit System.
- Any other duties as advised by your Operations Director.
To perform the role of Customer Service Administrator you will have:
- Excellent customer service skills, with proven experience gained within a call centre environment or having experience of dealing with high volumes of calls
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Working knowledge of Merit software a distinct advantage
Teddington
up to £21,000 pa dependent on experience, plus annual pay rise, discretionary generous bonus scheme, occasional free lunches, 25 days holiday, social events, good career progression.
